STATEMENT OF FAITH

God ~ We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; that God is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, immutable, infinitely holy, and the creator and sustainer of all things; that the persons of this Triune God are co-eternal in being, co-equal in power and glory.

Holy Spirit ~ We believe that all who receive Jesus Christ as personal Savior are born again into the family of God by the regenerating and renewing power of the Holy Spirit.

Creation ~ We accept the Genesis account of creation (Genesis 1-2; Colossians 1:16-17).  We believe that man was created by the direct act of God and was made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:27).

Scriptures ~ We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible-both the Old and New Testaments (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:19-21).

The Fall of Man ~ We believe that man was created in innocence, but that in Adam’s sin mankind fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God.  We believe that all men now, not only by birth, but by choice; and therefore, under just condemnation without defense or excuse (Genesis 3:1-6, Romans 5:19; Romans 5:12; Romans 5:10-19; Romans 1:18; Romans 1:32)

Virgin Birth ~ We believe that Jesus, God’s Son, was begotten of the Holy Ghost in a miraculous manner, born to Mary, a virgin, as no other man was ever born or can ever be born of a woman, and that He was both the Son of God and God the Son (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18; John 1:14).

Salvation ~ We believe in the necessity of the New Birth for salvation through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit, and that this salvation is by the Grace of God through faith in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ (John 3:3; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:22).  We believe those who are truly born again are kept by the power of God unto eternal salvation (John 10:29; Ephesians 4:30; I John 5:13).
