Morgantown Christian Academy’s music program began in 2006 under the leadership of Pastor Joe Peters. His philosophy from the very beginning was to give students as wide a sampling of musical opportunities as possible. The goal of that philosophy has always been that students would learn and grow musically at MCA so they can use their individual talents for the Lord in their local churches.

Throughout the years MCA has participated in the band/choral festival of the Old Dominion Association of Christian Schools held in Fredericksburg, VA. The MCA band participates yearly in the WVCEA state competition held in Beckley, West Virginia and has been invited on numerous occasions to participate in the National Fine Arts Competition hosted by Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina.
